I still remember the first time I met you Sir. It was on the 14th of March 2010. It was an unforgettable moment in my life. The way you spoke, the way you sang and the way you blessed me with some wonderful words. Nothing that I can ever forget about Sir.
There will be no one that can hate you Sir. You made our memories beautiful. Wherever we go, there will be a you with us. Whether a temple, a wedding hall, our living room, our bedroom; you even accompanied most of us into our bathrooms Sir. Lots of people became bathroom singers just because of your soulful voice Sir. That’s how much we love you. So much that we currently feel we have lost a member of our own family today.
There is no person who can melt our heart as much as you did Sir. You ruled everyone, everywhere. Music, cinema, stage performances and even as a dubbing artist. Even the heart of God melts only at your voice SPB Sir. The voices of lords will be incomplete without having your voice in movies.
From the era of Kodandapani, MS Viswanathan, KV Mahadevan, Ilaiyaraaja, AR Rahman, SA Rajkumar to Devi Sri Prasad, SS Thaman and many other music directors like yesterday’s Anirudh Ravichander, you have always been the first preference for everyone Sir. No superstar or megastar has risen without your songs Sir.
You have been with us during our ups and downs. When there was no one with us, you were the only one who accompanied us through those times. Even at this moment you still continue to accompany us and hopefully, this will be a ‘forever’ thing in our lives Sir.
You inspired a lot of people Sir. Brought a lot of newcomers as singers into the world of music. Not only with music, you also won many people’s heart with your kind, humble and human nature Sir.
Your demise is a very big loss for us. We badly hope that you will be reborn and be back with us Sir. As said, it’s the end of an era!
No one can replace the place of SPB in our hearts. Forever you will be in our hearts SPB Sir. You’re an addiction, and there are no replacements that can replace you. ❤
